A First Look at the CNI Fall 2026 Project Briefings
Dear colleagues,
Last week we announced the CNI Fall 2026 Membership Meeting opening and closing plenary sessions. This week, we’re sharing a preliminary list of project briefings, which are the concurrent sessions that make up the heart of the meeting.
The response to the call for proposals was extraordinary, in both number and quality: we were able to accept only about 30% of the proposals due to room limitations. Together with the CNI Steering Committee, we’ve built the program with a lot of care, aiming for balance among interest areas. You’ll find the list on the meeting website: https://www.cni.org/mm/fall-2026/project-briefings-f26
A quick note on membership, since we tend to get questions about it around this time: CNI membership is open to any organization, including sub-units such as an individual library, department, or center, and you can join at any point during the year. Each member organization may send two representatives to our membership meetings. You can learn more at https://www.cni.org/about-cni/membership or reach out directly—we'd always love to hear from you!
Yours,
Kate
