COGR Report on Research Security and the Costs of Compliance

CNI-ANNOUNCE CNI-ANNOUNCE

The Council on Governmental Relations (www.cogr.edu) has just issued an interesting report looking at the 2022-2023 costs of compliance with the disclosure requirements related to the US Government's Research Security Initiative. See

https://www.cogr.edu/sites/default/files/Version%20Nov%2014%202022%20research%20security%20costs%20survey%20FINAL.pdf

My understanding is that this is Phase I of a broader survey that COGR is conducting; Phase II, to appear in future, will cover costs and administrative burdens related to research security program requirements (training of various kinds, cybersecurity, etc).
