Open Education - 7 Things

CNI-ANNOUNCE CNI-ANNOUNCE

Do you need to explain what open educational resources (OER) or practices (OEP) are about to faculty or fellow information professionals? Are you developing institutional policies regarding open education? This concise series from the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative (ELI) will provide you with background, examples, and places to find additional information. —Joan Lippincott, CNI ———————————————

Just a quick note that the ELI has just completed a three-part series in its 7 Things publication. The series is about open education, and the three issues cover content, practices, and policies. Composed with the help of a terrific set of subject matter experts, it is our hope that this series can provide a point of departure for conversations about all aspects of open education.

The issues are:

Open Education: Content

Open Education: Practices

Open Education: Policies

As always, the 7 Things issues are freely available to all.
