The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching has sponsored the publication of a book titled "Opening Up Education: The Collective Advancement of Education through Open Technology, Open Content and Open Knowledge" which is now available via MIT Press in hardcopy and also for free download under a Creative Commons license.
