Libraries can bring needed expertise and coordination to accessibility and contribute to the success of students with disabilities. This video provides updates on three accessibility initiatives: an Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) planning grant for repository services, the Association for Research Libraries (ARL) captioning initiative, and a pilot at the University of Illinois to contribute DAISY files to the HathiTrust Digital Library.

-A CAVEkiosk in the Library: The At-Risk Cultural Heritage and the Digital Humanities UC Catalyst Grant, Declan Fleming (UCSD) This video provides an overview of the At-Risk Cultural Heritage and the Digital Humanities University of California (UC), Catalyst grant work, specifically on the 3D CAVEkiosk installed in the University of California San Diego (UCSD) Geisel Library. The Cave is an interactive display for work which is being done at UCSD in collaboration with archaeology faculty at UC Berkeley, UC Merced and UCLA, incorporating more than 10,000 years of cultural materials, architecture and landscapes.
